He noted that by establishing cooperation with the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), China has demonstrated support for the restoration of Azerbaijan's Karabakh region.
"China provides support in the restoration of Azerbaijan's liberated territories. Our companies participated in the construction of communication networks in some areas as soon as Azerbaijan restored its sovereignty and territorial integrity. During COP29, Energy China and the Azerbaijani side signed an agreement to implement a 160 MW solar power plant project in Fuzuli, which will be China's contribution to creating a Green Energy Zone in Azerbaijan's liberated territories," said Ding Tao.
The diplomat emphasized that China supports the Azerbaijani authorities' strategy for the country's development and is ready to make a greater contribution to the development of Azerbaijani society and improving the population's living standards.
"In addition to actively pursuing trade, economic, and investment cooperation with Azerbaijan to promote industrial development and employment growth in the country, China has been implementing various social projects together with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for many years," he added.
